Quark 2.0: the all-around leap in MICE
gatherings, where craft meets cutting-edge technology
The redesign project of the Quark Hotel Milano Conference Center, curated by the EvaStomper studio, marks a significant evolution of the Quark offering: a fully reimagined MICE experience driven by innovation, technology and immersion. The spaces become a digital stage where dynamic video surfaces tell the story of live events in real time and generate customized atmospheres for each hosted brand, amplifying the sense of engagement and transforming the welcome into a 360° scenic experience.
The rooms become neutral, highly versatile “black boxes,” modular and reconfigurable, featuring 360° perimeter rings for immersive projections and concentric rings dedicated to AVL technologies—a functional leap into the future. The Expo plenary hall will showcase a 5.5 × 3 m suspended LED wall as the visual centerpiece, complemented by an upgraded electrical system and a calibrated lighting rig for maximum stage flexibility. Technical technologies and scenography are designed to eliminate the superfluous and focus on content, in perfect harmony with Quark’s innovative and evolving spirit. The entire congress area rests on an ultra-advanced technological infrastructure, with the goal of ensuring fully reconfigurable environments capable of hosting corporate events, product launches, and interactive shows with the utmost audience engagement.
The Quark 2.0 project transforms the hotel’s conference center into a next‑generation MICE ecosystem, where every element—from architecture to immersive technologies—speaks the language of innovation and tells the story of the brand’s ongoing evolution.

A Stage for Every Story: the Hotel’s New Black Box
In the heart of our redesign project, the Expo Hall transforms into a sophisticated and versatile “black box”, designed to host events of every kind with elegance and functionality. The demolition of the existing stage and control room opens the door to a new scenic and technical configuration, capable of freeing up the space and making it fully adaptable. A key element of the renovation is the suspended 5.5 × 3 m LED wall, set to become the visual and technological centerpiece of the hall, able to capture every gaze and amplify the brand and guest experience.
The upgraded electrical system, together with a calibrated lighting setup harmonized with the environment, ensures maximum flexibility and aesthetic coherence. Attention to detail is reflected in the new durable, seamless flooring, the uniform paint finish, and the blackout curtains with a refined design that aligns perfectly with the concept. The integrated AVL system and the new modular stage guarantee technical functionality and stability, ready to support events of any complexity.
The Expo Hall thus reawakens as a neutral yet vibrant space, technical yet welcoming, capable of adapting to every need with timeless elegance and boundless versatility.

quasar
A black box for events that bring
content into focus
The restyling of Quasar Hall is born from a clear vision: to transform it into a neutral and essential “black box”, a space capable of adapting to any brand and any style, offering maximum scenic flexibility and formal clarity. By removing the control booth’s auxiliary structures, the space is freed up, resulting in a more streamlined and efficient layout.
At the heart of the new scenic setup is a 100‑inch fixed screen, a stable yet discreet element, while the existing confidence monitors remain in place, essential for dynamic visual support across different contexts. The mechanical and electrical systems will be retained in their current configuration, already fully meeting the hall’s operational requirements. For lighting, the intervention replaces the existing wall‑mounted fixtures with technical spotlights, installed in regular rows along the grid ceiling.
A simple yet effective gesture, giving the space a more controlled, functional light consistent with the concept. Some of the old fixtures are repurposed in the entrance between the lobby and the hall, creating a welcoming scenic effect that stylishly introduces the Quasar experience. The restyling is completed with new paint on walls and frames to unify the visual language, and the installation of a new technical flooring chosen for durability, comfort, and aesthetic continuity. The blackout curtains are also replaced with models that harmonize in color with the new layout.
Emergency signage is retained and, if necessary, upgraded to ensure full regulatory compliance. The result? An elegant, high‑tech scenic space designed for corporate events, presentations, and multimedia installations: a hall that removes the superfluous to shine a spotlight on what truly matters.

meeting rooms
A new language for meeting rooms
The restyling project for the meeting rooms and their adjoining corridors aims to redefine the visual identity of these strategic spaces, combining functionality, aesthetics and narrative consistency. The intervention focuses on color schemes, infographics, and architectural details, striking a precise balance between technical continuity and stylistic innovation. Existing systems are retained, with targeted integrations to the electrical network where needed, to ensure full functionality and adaptability to the new layouts. Emergency signage is also preserved, in full compliance with current regulations. In the corridors, the project introduces a new color palette that harmonizes the wall surfaces with the overall graphic concept.
The carpet flooring is replaced to enhance perceptual comfort and overall aesthetics. A new vertical infographic will guide wayfinding in a clear, elegant, and integrated manner. Inside the meeting rooms, the restyling continues with fresh paint on the walls and new carpet, following the same material and color codes used in the corridors to create visual and sensory continuity. Technical elements such as splits and fan coils are repainted to blend seamlessly with the environment, maintaining a neat and coherent formal language. The blackout curtains are replaced with new models aligned with the updated identity, while the lighting fixtures are upgraded to deliver higher‑performance, adjustable light of superior quality.
In summary, this intervention seeks to enhance operational and relational spaces, improving the user experience through a coherent, contemporary and immersive visual language.

WHAT’s NEXT
Gemini is not a hall. It is a stage awaiting its next act. A space of bold character, capable of transforming with elegance,
never losing its identity. The fixed tiered seating structures the environment and naturally defines an audience ready to host a fashion show, a talk, a premiere.
Simply change the scene: add chairs and small tables, and Gemini becomes an intimate cinema, perfect for auteur screenings or dinners inspired by the seventh art.
Thanks to the integrated video projectors, every piece of content comes alive with striking visual impact and engagement.
Or it can open up, free and expansive: revealing a large hall for conventions, presentations, product launches, where every voice finds its echo.
Gemini is dual, just like its name: technical and imaginative, rigorous and spectacular.
A place designed to host diverse content, with one ambition: to make a lasting impression.
